Saotome Sensei
Saturday's Aikido class at the 12th Street Dojo in Sarasota, was dynamic and inspiring. We are very fortunate to have such a talented and skilled martial artist, such as Mitsugi Saotome Shihan, devote his energy and time into our Dojo and students. We are very grateful to Saotome Shihan for this opportunity and the students who help prepare the dojo for his continuous visits!
Saturday morning (9/20), Saotome Shihan will be teaching class @ 10 AM. Saotome Shihan is a world renowned martial arts master and one of the last surviving uchideshi (personal live-in students) of O'Sensei. We are very fortunate to have him here in Sarasota and teaching at 12th Street Dojo. All are welcomed to attend, please place your $10 mat fee in the box with your name on it. This applies to active dojo memebrs as well. See you there!
Mitsugi Saotome Shihan taught class at the Dojo on Saturday, August 9th. Aikidoka travel across oceans and from other countries to train with Saotome Shihan! We are extremely fortunate to have Saotome Shihan teach in our dojo and should seize the opportunity to attend all his classes! This Saturday, July 26th at 10 am, Mitsugi Saotome Shihan will be teaching class! This is an amazing a special opportunity for members of 12th Street Dojo. There is a $20 mat fee for all attendees, including monthly members, and lunch will be provided afterwards. Please bring your own beverages.
